Commissioned by University of Surrey’s Choreographic Laboratory, this dance lecture performance based on the experimental and fictional dancer Heidi Dhinkowska (also known as Hi Jinx). This work parodies the desire to create icons from the past. The work includes film clips and ‘reconstructions’ from Heidi’s artistic back catalogue.
